The first Colt Lightning came on to the market in 1884 and was chambered in .44-40; 185,000 were manufactured. The Lightning rifle and carbine made by A. Uberti is a replica of the original Lightning, using modern steel and will safely stand up to modern ammunition. Available in .45Colt or .357Mag., walnut stocks and a choice of blued or color case-hardened receivers.
