Top Break Russian Revolver

Amongst the models for export, between 1874 and 1878, Smith & Wesson produced about 60,000 pieces of this splendid .44 caliber Russian for the Czar Empire and both the Turkish and Japanese governments. As the Schofield model, the Russian originated from the Model S. & W. N°3 using the main features. 125 years have passed since the birth of this revolver but it is still elegant and mysterious. Re-known for its precision, the Russian was considered to be the most beautiful pistol of that era.
